SAP Technical Architect

We are assisting our client, a highly successful global manufacturing company, in directly hiring an experienced SAP Technical Architect located in the greater Toledo, OH area. Reporting to the Global SAP Director, this role has primary responsibility for leading the development of SAP projects/programs and associated Middleware to ensure alignment to strategy through in-house development and third-party suppliers. This role will provide leadership to development team members and technical direction to consultants. The company is set to embark on a global deployment of SAP Business Suite on HANA; therefore, this is a very exciting time to step into this leadership role. *Candidates MUST be US Citizens or Green Card holders in order to apply.

Responsibilities: 

• Contribute as Technology Architect for integration of SAP with Ariba, Concur, Success Factors, Legacy Applications.
• EDI Design across Business partners (Customers, Vendors, 3PL).
• Overall oversight and accountable for SAP application development quality and maintenance quality.
• Ensure overall quality of team deliverable: Create, maintain, and enforce development standards, processes and procedures in multi-vendor environment.
• Contribute as solution architect in cross-functional areas like Order Management, Supply Chain and Finance Area.
• Design, develop, and implement solutions for roll out, merger, acquisition and upgrade projects.
• Manage issues proactively, including timely resolution and the identification of remediation opportunities.
• Identify and resolve systemic issues to prevent them from repeating. Ensure delivery against agreed upon SLAs and overall service delivery of operational activities.
• Understand short and long-term goals and objectives and recommend technical industry best practice solutions and services.
• Manage Defects using Panaya, HPQC or SharePoint Defect tracking Tools.
• Manage the technical milestones for Change Request during the duration of the Project.
• Play vital role in planning & managing Project Technical Cutover activities along with other Functional Teams.
• Create strategic plans and road-maps for identified projects as required.
• Explore new technologies for future planning and potential implementation.

Requirements: 

Education and Experience Requirements
*Candidates MUST be either US Citizens or Green Card Holders
• Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in a related discipline (Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science or Business)
• 10+ years of experience deploying and supporting SAP systems, including end-to-end full life-cycle activities
• Experience and/or knowledge of RICEFW (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms and Workflow) in ECC, XI, CRM, GTS, SRM, Ariba, GRC, Vistex, Vertex, SAP PI, EDI, ALE, BAPI, RFC, LSMW, BAPI, BDC and IDocs, Adobe forms, Zebra Labels, SAPScripts and SmartForms, Enhancement frameworks
• Research and Implement SAP Notes; Upgrade Tasks SPDD and SPAU
• Experience using HANA and Fiori preferred
• ITIL Certification is preferred

Senior Accountant- System Implementation Support

RGP’s Consulting Practice has been engaged by one of its clients to recruit a Senior Accountant-System Implementation Support to join their team, located in the Greater Detroit area. The consultant will need to have a strong accounting background and will be engaged with our client on a large-scale system implementation.

Responsibilities: 

• Working with and having significant experience around accounting data flows in a large, complex organization. Understanding and researching issues pertaining to multiple interconnected systems/modules that affect accounting transactions. Working with client team to reconcile large amounts of data in conjunction with the client’s system implementation.
• Responsible for the assistance in collecting and analyzing data for software development evaluation and improvements.
• Involved in the day-to-day tasks of software user acceptance testing and quality assurance process.
• Preparation and review of account analysis/reconciliations, journal entries and assistance with month end, quarter end and the yearend close process as needed
• Assist with planning and implementation of cut-over/go-live activities during system deployment period.
• Assist with the development and execution of the Quality Management Plan, Review and Audit Plan.
• Support improving performance and ensuring consistency in assessing compliance document processes by developing standardized test plans and consistent testing automation.
• Responsible for informing, enabling, reviewing, and reporting on project process performance.
• Work with Test Lead to perform and lead processes related to testing activities for new software development systems and applications.
• Engage testing analysts to specify and support the system test environment.
• Develop and execute formal test plans to ensure the accurate delivery of information from the new software applications.

Requirements: 

• 5+ years accounting/finance experience in public accounting and/or corporate environment; financial services industry preferred
• Minimum Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field
• CPA preferred
• Previous large scale system implementation support required, Alfa experience preferred
• UAT testing experience; able to handle and understand large amounts of data
• Knowledge of Agile methodology preferred
