Senior Accountant

Accretive Solutions’ Consulting Practice has been engaged by one of our clients to recruit a Senior Accountant to join their team, located Los Angeles, Ca.

Responsibilities: 

• Month-end close & account reconciliation
• Treasury - cash forecasting, some banking systems exposure
• All G/L functions (including fixed asset analysis)
• Intercompany accounting and reporting
• Review general ledger and reports
• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements
• Involved with finance/budgeting/forecasting
• IFRS, corporate tax and revenue recognition responsibilities
• Internal systems include MS Dynamics, Salesforce and Anaplan

Requirements: 

• A four year degree in accounting or finance
• Minimum 5 years of experience with a preferred mix of public and industry accounting experience
• IFRS exposure and revenue recognition preferred, financial services or insurance industry knowledge

Sales and Use Tax Accountant (Contract to Hire)

Responsibilities: 

Assist in the coordination of state and local sales tax audits
Monthly Reconciliation
Assist in the Department’s tax accounting requirements; including the preparation of journal entries for monthly customer tax credits
Perform research on technical Sales/Use tax issues and document findings
Complete special projects as assigned by manager

Requirements: 

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
Three plus years of relevant sales tax experience
Strong Excel skills
