SVP, Corporate Finance (Dallas)

Accretive Solutions’ Executive Search Practice, now a part of RGP, has been engaged by an excellent global asset management company to recruit an SVP, Corporate Finance to join their team, located in Dallas. Considering candidates with early Big 4 experience, CPA and strong financial analysis experience. The company is growing, has a great culture, beautiful office, and outstanding benefits. Salary range $175 – 200K + great bonus. Only local candidates will be considered.

Responsibilities: 

Position Summary:
Analyze financial information and review financial reports for company and subsidiaries. Supervise Corporate Accounting, Financial Reporting and Financial Operations; direct and advise in application of accounting and company corporate procedures. Create synergies across teams to ensure efficient process control and communications impacting the entire department.

Essential Functions:
Corporate Accounting:
• Develop, coordinate, manage and direct all accounting and financial control functions for all Company Subsidiaries. Ensure all financial accounting and reporting processes are managed in accordance with local generally accepted accounting principles and statutory requirements.
• Supervise corporate accounting teams in Dallas, Dublin, and Tokyo.
• Maintain responsibility for all financial regulatory requirements and relationships globally, including the execution of the annual audit for company and subsidiaries.
• Assist with the coordination of the external financial audit of the foreign subsidiaries of company
• Coordinate requests for information from the tax, legal, compliance, and internal audit departments.
• Oversee the quarterly distribution process for tax and annual profit distributions.
• Evaluate Accounting and Reporting Service provider
• Conduct technical accounting research, interpretation and application of accounting principles as company expands its footprint to new geographies.
• Drive continuous improvement of financial information systems and processes and seek ways to improve effectiveness and efficiency of financial reporting.

Financial Operations:
• Oversee Billing Administration function, including:
o Billing Rate calculation and ad-hoc reporting as needed
o Monthly Fee Revenue calculation and billing administration
o Bi-annual Fee benchmark study
• Financial Operation support to each of the company’s business units:
o Annual Business Plan updates
o Quarterly Department Reviews
o Monthly financial reporting and analysis
• Understand the cross-functional and cross-departmental processes, and continuously work towards enhancing systems and process flows.
• Provide effective and timely financial information and business analytics and information to executive leadership to ensure the organization is effectively meeting the strategic operating plan and adherence to the long-term roadmap.
• Provide Headcount/Compensation Reporting for Executive team.
• Oversee the design, development and maintenance of various Reporting models.
• Perform or lead special projects as assigned.
• Provide Executive support to CFO and COO.

Certificates/Licenses:
CPA

Education:
Master’s Degree in Finance / Accounting related field

Experience:
10+ years financial analysis work experience.
4-5 years of Big Four Audit experience required.

Computer Skills:
Advanced knowledge of Excel
Oracle Financials and Hyperion Essbase experience a plus

The Sr. Auditor will be responsible for the performance of our integrated audit approach that would include a combination of financial, operational, and information system audit processes for various internal business units.

Responsibilities: 

• Responsible for assisting in the performance of our integrated audit approach that would include a combination of financial, operational, and information system audit processes for various internal business units.
• Responsible for evaluating the following criteria for all areas reviewed in a high-quality, professional manner: adequacy of internal controls, reliability of accounting information, quality of ongoing operations of the areas reviewed, and compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
• Responsible for analyzing and evaluating the adequacy of design and effectiveness of internal controls.
• Responsible for applying basic analytical skills, form hypothesis and draw conclusions.
• Responsible for enhancing and developing communications and problem solving skills.
• Responsible for executing and documenting audit program tests for financial, operational, and system audits.
• Responsible for identifying and documenting audit issues.
• Responsible for completing work within defined plans, budgets, and schedules.
• Use Windows-based work processing and spreadsheet software.
• Responsible for effective writing, oral and presentation techniques.

Requirements: 

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics OR Accounting from an accredited university
• 2-5 years of professional experience
• Financial Services Experience Preferred
• CPA or CIA preferred
