SAP MM/Purchasing Global Process Leader

We are assisting our client, a highly successful global manufacturing company, in directly hiring an experienced SAP MM/Purchasing Global Functional/Process Leader located in Maumee, OH. Reporting to the Global SAP Director, this role has primary responsibility for Governance of the Dana SAP global template and standard deployment of functionality to ensure global consistency for Purchasing business processes supported by the system. The company is set to embark on a global deployment of SAP Business Suite on HANA; therefore, this is a very exciting time to step into this leadership role.

Responsibilities: 

Govern the SAP Template
o Promote consistent implementation of the template functionality across all projects
o Understand proposed changes to the standard processes of the template. Approve or reject proposals and collaborate with team members to ensure any changes to the template can co-exist or integrate with existing plants / users.
o Ensure compliance to Corporate Policies and Template Governance Procedures
o Deliver timely maintenance of business process documentation
• Provide purchasing subject matter expertise for business processes and supporting SAP solutions across the enterprise regardless of the business unit
• Transfer business process and existing SAP solution knowledge to team members including implementation partners, deployment team members and the SAP support organization
o Develop standards for training documentation and execution
o Develop standards for test script execution
o Maintain program documentation for system supported purchasing business processes
• Monitor and audit purchasing related activities to ensure quality standards and global consistency across all program deployment projects
• Collaborate with the Data Team to facilitate Data map governance for additional fields, changes and cross plant data field conflicts
• Manage and deliver mini-projects that expand the scope or enhance the quality of purchasing business processes
• Support Hypercare activities as needed

Requirements: 

Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or other related curriculum
 Minimum 10 years related professional experience
 Deep SAP MM/Purchasing Functional Experience on a global scale
 Corporate or Manufacturing site experience in the following functional areas:
o Procure to Pay Process
o Supply Chain Concepts
o Purchase Orders/Blanket Purchase Orders/Contracts
o Scheduling Agreements and Spot Purchases
o Vendor Sourcing/Pricing
o Supplier Surcharge Mechanisms
o PPV, Usage, Spend Analysis
o Part Master/Material Master
o Supplier Performance Assessments
o Reports and Controls utilized by the Procurement Organization
