Instructional Designer

Accretive Solutions/RGP is seeking multiple on-site field consultant with strong, demonstrated experience as an Instructional Designer with strong skills in supporting large scale process improvement projects. Candidate can be strong in developing Instructor Lead Training or Web Based training or both. Qualifications for both resources are outlined below. It is likely that the instructional designers will be assigned to develop either class room based learning or web based learning, please indicate your preference based on your experience. Working collaboratively with training management, customers, instructional staff and subject matter experts to create effective, skills based training solutions. Project entails developing both class room based and web based training for the technical operations team for a major airline.

Responsibilities: 

• Revise ILT content and support materials based on team objectives and to team standards
• Revise web-based content to HTML5 based on team objectives and to team standards

• Work collaboratively with a diverse team (department managers and supervisors, customer representatives, subject matter experts, instructional staff, program developers)
• Deliver customer focused products and services
• Take ownership of assigned projects and do what is necessary to ensure assigned projects are completed on schedule and to department standards
• Provide timely status updates and reports on assigned projects to supervisor

Requirements: 

• Preferred bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in instructional systems design.
• Practical experience using ISD principles and the ADDIE process to include adult learning theories, interactive training and learning design
• Three or more years e-learning development experience
• Working knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS) related to packaging and uploading training content
• Deadline oriented
• Ability to build interpersonal relationships and foster an environment of working together
• Must be able to read, write, fluently speak, and understand the English language

Preferred Qualifications / Skills
• FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate or experience in the aviation industry
• Working knowledge of FAA, OSHA, EPA and other governmental regulations pertaining to training
• ASTD CPLP certification
• Working knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS)
• Previous experience with version control systems
• Familiarity with Kirkpatrick’s method of evaluation

Accretive Solutions’ Executive Search Practice has been engaged by a transportation client to recruit a Controller to join their team, located in the Sacramento, CA area. Our client offers an excellent opportunity to get involved in many areas of the business and excellent visibility within the organization.

The Controller will report to the CEO and will manage a small team responsible for the Accounting operations of the company – month end close, financial reporting, implementing policies and procedures. Must be an active CPA. Position is paying a base up to $100k plus bonus potential.

Responsibilities: 

• Review, monitor and ensure accuracy of financial statements
• Analyze financial and operational data
• Promote and enhance a strong internal control environment; conduct annual internal control reviews and Sarbanes Oxley compliance.
• Preparation and follow up of the budget from the business units
• Preparation of the financial statements (Monthly, Quarterly and Annual) and analysis required by management
• Preparation and follow of the program profitability with the program manager
• Monitor rules and regulations and maintain compliance with all requirements of the accounting governance organizations.
• Prepare and file quarterly, annual and periodic reports to maintain compliance with applicable rules and regulations.
• Responsibility of the internal control of the business unit (follow up on procedures and company's policies, improvement of the different systems).

Requirements: 

• BS in Accounting or Finance required
• CPA required
• Minimum 3-5 years in corporate
• Proven executive-level financial manager with strong leadership skills and a history of increasing managerial responsibilities.
