Senior Analyst - Tax & Treasury (Dallas)

Accretive Solutions’ Executive Search Practice has been engaged by a private, global company to recruit a Senior Analyst, Tax & Treasury to join their team, located in Dallas.They are looking for a current CPA with 4+ years' corporate tax experience in public accounting. They plan to train on treasury management which would be a great opportunity to expand your skills. The position responsibilities will include both corporate tax compliance and treasury management. The company has a wonderful culture and outstanding benefits including an ESOP plan. Salary is very competitive with a bonus.

Responsibilities: 

This role includes a combination of one off projects and day to day Treasury and Tax activities. It will support all aspects of the treasury function including providing analytical support, payment processing, cash forecasting, cash management, debt compliance, etc. It will also support the tax function including federal and state compliance, provision, planning, audit support, etc.

Duties/Responsibilities
• Assist in payment processing including checks, wires, ACH, etc.
• Monitor bank service fees and address quality issues.
• Manage the cash forecasting process.
• Enforce, support and enhance internal controls over cash.
• Oversee the corporate credit card program.
• Assist in short term cash investment management.
• Assist in preparation of debt covenant compliance.
• Coordinate the accounts payable and accounts receivable function.
• Provide support for routine and non-routine financial and other transactions that could involve capital structure, investments, acquisitions, etc.
• Manage preparation of escheat filings.
• Manage preparation of Report of Foreign Bank and Financial Accounts.
• Accumulate, analyze, and process financial accounting data for federal and state tax compliance; prepare tax returns.
• Coordinate any outsourced tax preparation functions.
• Manage tax calendar to ensure tax filings are completed timely.
• Prepare tax provision schedules by reviewing, preparing, and consolidating provision schedules.
• Assist with tax planning and audit support as needed.
• Assist with special projects, including the internal audit of financial reporting.
• Complete other special projects as needed.

Requirements: 

• Undergraduate degree in finance, accounting or comparable degree required.
• Current CPA required
• 4+ years’ experience in corporate tax in public accounting
• Strong working knowledge or background of financial internal controls.
• The ability to apply analytical and problem-solving skills to a variety of work assignments, as well as a positive, professional outlook, proactive nature, hands-on collaborative work ethic, and the ability and desire to work individually and as part of a team to efficiently accomplish department and business goals, are essential for success in this position.
• A team player with a positive and professional attitude, commitment to quality and excellence and willingness to learn and implement company policies and best practices.
• Interested in process improvement.
• Internally motivated to seek out answers, generate ideas, and develop new skills.
• Excellent verbal/written communication, prioritization and time management skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications with strong Excel skills.
• Experience with SAGE 300 (Accpac) desirable. If candidate has limited or no experience with SAGE 300 they must have an aptitude to master the software.
• Experience with corporate management systems desirable.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.

Technical Accounting Manager

I am working with a growing public company in the DFW area looking to hire a Technical Accounting Manager. This is the perfect opportunity for someone with previous public accounting experience who looking to make the move to Manager.
