International Tax Support

We have a client that requires international tax experience in their corporate tax department. This position will assist with all elements of the tax compliance life cycle, including preparation, review, and tax analysis. This role requires previous corporate income tax experience or public accounting experience.

Responsibilities: 

Preparing US Tax Compliance Forms 5471 / 8858 / 8865
Preparing earnings and profits tax adjustments
Preparing and reviewing tax packages information questionnaires submitted to the business controllers
Overall support to tax department during compliance season
Supporting the tax provision life cycle for the foreign locations
Assist / prepare annual international tax provisions, ASC740, APB23 and FIN48 work papers and effective tax rate analysis
Assist with the global withholding tax activity
Assist with / preparation for FBAR (Foreign Banking and Reporting) compliance
Preparing and responding to Information Requests from IRS on Foreign Issues

Requirements: 

Must have at least 2-4 years of experience preparing Foreign returns (5471s) for purposes of the US federal income tax return. This includes preparing and reviewing book to tax adjustments for the and preparing and reviewing tax package request to gather the necessary information to complete assigned federal income tax returns. Significant CorpTax experience a plus.

Basic Qualifications

Minimum of three years’ experience in income tax preparation, with an emphasis on corporate income tax, in either a Fortune 500 company or a national/regional public accounting firm
US Federal Income Tax and/or International Tax background
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
Able to creatively research, analyze, and conclude specifically assigned US tax issues with minimal supervision
Able to work closely with groups within a corporate structure including finance, legal, operations, etc.
A team-player attitude with a willingness to assist other accounting team members with tasks as needed

Preferred Qualifications

CPA preferred, but not required
Masters in Accounting, Finance or Taxation is preferred
Significant CorpTax experience a big plus!

Tax Manager or Director

Our client is looking for a long term consultant with non-profit/health care experience with corporate tax with ability to be a driver and provide executive summary risk reports and guidance on the new tax legislations. Not for profit experience is important for this role.

Corporate Income Tax Manager or Director
Our client has an immediate need in their tax department for a tax consultant. This position would be responsible for providing support of the tax department during provision and compliance season and the overall tax life cycle. The role would support the US federal and state and local income tax needs.

Must have at least 10-15+ years of experience preparing separate company federal income tax returns. This includes preparing and reviewing book to tax adjustments for the federal income tax returns, preparing and reviewing tax package request to gather the necessary information to complete assigned federal income tax returns.
