Senior Tax Analyst

Our client is looking for a long term consultant with non-profit/health care experience with corporate tax with ability to be a driver and provide executive summary risk reports and guidance on the new tax legislations. Not for profit experience is important for this role.

Corporate Income Tax Senior Analyst
Our client has an immediate need in their tax department for a tax consultant. This position would be responsible for providing support of the tax department during provision and compliance season and the overall tax life cycle. The role would support the US federal and state and local income tax needs.

Must have at least 7-10 years of experience preparing separate company federal income tax returns. This includes preparing and reviewing book to tax adjustments for the federal income tax returns, preparing and reviewing tax package request to gather the necessary information to complete assigned federal income tax returns.

Responsibilities: 

• Working on the Tax Provision at the quarters and year end
• Preparing separate company federal income tax returns
• Preparing book to tax adjustments
• Preparing and reviewing tax packages information questionnaires submitted to the business controllers
• Overall support to tax department during compliance season
• Includes State and Local Compliance

Requirements: 

Basic Qualifications
• Minimum of three years’ experience in income tax preparation, with an emphasis on corporate income tax, in either a Fortune 500 company or a national/regional public accounting firm
• US Federal Income Tax and/or State and Local Tax background
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
• Able to creatively research, analyze, and conclude specifically assigned US tax issues with minimal supervision
• Able to work closely with groups within a corporate structure including finance, legal, operations, etc.
• A team-player attitude with a willingness to assist other accounting team members with tasks as needed

Preferred Qualifications
• CPA preferred, but not required
• Masters in Accounting, Finance or Taxation is preferred
• Significant CorpTax and OneSource experience

SAP Technical Architect

We are assisting our client, a highly successful global manufacturing company, in directly hiring an experienced SAP Technical Architect located in the greater Toledo, OH area. Reporting to the Global SAP Director, this role has primary responsibility for leading the development of SAP projects/programs and associated Middleware to ensure alignment to strategy through in-house development and third-party suppliers. This role will provide leadership to development team members and technical direction to consultants. The company is set to embark on a global deployment of SAP Business Suite on HANA; therefore, this is a very exciting time to step into this leadership role. *Candidates MUST be US Citizens or Green Card holders in order to apply.

Responsibilities: 

• Contribute as Technology Architect for integration of SAP with Ariba, Concur, Success Factors, Legacy Applications.
• EDI Design across Business partners (Customers, Vendors, 3PL).
• Overall oversight and accountable for SAP application development quality and maintenance quality.
• Ensure overall quality of team deliverable: Create, maintain, and enforce development standards, processes and procedures in multi-vendor environment.
• Contribute as solution architect in cross-functional areas like Order Management, Supply Chain and Finance Area.
• Design, develop, and implement solutions for roll out, merger, acquisition and upgrade projects.
• Manage issues proactively, including timely resolution and the identification of remediation opportunities.
• Identify and resolve systemic issues to prevent them from repeating. Ensure delivery against agreed upon SLAs and overall service delivery of operational activities.
• Understand short and long-term goals and objectives and recommend technical industry best practice solutions and services.
• Manage Defects using Panaya, HPQC or SharePoint Defect tracking Tools.
• Manage the technical milestones for Change Request during the duration of the Project.
• Play vital role in planning & managing Project Technical Cutover activities along with other Functional Teams.
• Create strategic plans and road-maps for identified projects as required.
• Explore new technologies for future planning and potential implementation.

Requirements: 

Education and Experience Requirements
*Candidates MUST be either US Citizens or Green Card Holders
• Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in a related discipline (Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science or Business)
• 10+ years of experience deploying and supporting SAP systems, including end-to-end full life-cycle activities
• Experience and/or knowledge of RICEFW (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms and Workflow) in ECC, XI, CRM, GTS, SRM, Ariba, GRC, Vistex, Vertex, SAP PI, EDI, ALE, BAPI, RFC, LSMW, BAPI, BDC and IDocs, Adobe forms, Zebra Labels, SAPScripts and SmartForms, Enhancement frameworks
• Research and Implement SAP Notes; Upgrade Tasks SPDD and SPAU
• Experience using HANA and Fiori preferred
• ITIL Certification is preferred
