Bank Secrecy Act / Anti-Money Laundering Consultant

In this role you will be assisting our client’s BSA / AML team in implementing changes and updates to their BSA / AML compliance initiatives and add value to the overall PMO.

Responsibilities: 

   Subject matter expertise on BSA / AML with specific experience in correspondent banking

• Coordinate activities for assigned projects, including communication to all affected parties of timing, scope, objectives, approach, and deliverables.

• Audit activity includes assessments of the clients BSA / AML compliance implementation.

• Communicate progress and results of projects throughout the engagement to client and firm management.

• Develop value added recommendations to deal with issues identified during assigned tasks and draft reports to formally communicate the results.

• Travel required to San Francisco

Requirements: 

• Previous experience with BSA (Bank Secrecy Act) and AML (Anti-money Laundering) required
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field plus 7 - 8 years of experience in the Banking industry.
• Experience with financial institutions and Dodd-Frank Act required
• Good interpersonal, organizational and communication skills (verbal and written)
• Self-motivated and results oriented individual with strong time management and project delivery skills.
• Comfortable interacting with personnel at all levels within an organization, including senior management.
• CRCM or CAMS certification would be highly desired
