Family Office Accountant (Tax Accountant)

THE OPPORTUNITY:
Reports to Family Office Manager and assists in family related business matters
Record transactions, post debits and credits, and cash forecasting
Responsible for reconciling bank accounts and credit cards
Responsible for organizing and maintaining supporting documentation

Responsibilities: 

The Family Office Accountant will be responsible for the preparation of various financial statements, investment reports, journal entries, and account reconciliations for members of the founding family. This exciting position has many opportunities for growth!

Requirements: 

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; or equivalent combination of education and work experience
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in personal financial accounting or bookkeeping preferred
- Experience in reconciliation of financial information (cash, accounts receivable, accounts payable, etc.)
- Experience with QuickBooks accounting software
- Proven attention to detail, quick turnaround times and ability to meet deadlines
- Demonstrated understanding of the importance of personal information security (tax info, medical info, etc.)

Compensation

Competitive base compensation: $75-90K
