Financial Analyst- FP&A

RGP’s Consulting Practice has been engaged by one of its clients to recruit a Financial Analyst to join their team, located in the Greater Detroit area. This resource will be responsible for being the primary point of contact related to the day-to-day financial analysis, budget and forecast responsibilities. These could include the following:

Responsibilities: 

• Working with departments to develop and analyze annual and long-term budgets
• Overall consolidation and analysis of corporate budgets
• Preparing internal reports for executive leadership to support decision making
• Creating, updating, and maintaining financial models and detailed forecasts of the company’s operations
• Comparing historical results against budgets and forecasts, performing variance analysis to explain differences in performance and make improvements going forward
• Developing and analyzing key financial ratios which may include working capital, return on investment (ROI), cash flow, etc.
• Analyzing the company’s products or product line profitability
• Help to develop and map out growth plans, including capital expenditures and investments, and generate three- to five-year financial forecasts

Requirements: 

• Minimum Bachelor's degree required.
• 3-5 years Accounting, Audit and/or FP&A experience
• Strong Analysis and reporting experience required
• Strong Excel, Access and/or financial modeling skills
• Experience with Corporate Performance Management solutions such as HFM or One Stream is a plus.
