Graphic Designer/eLearning Developer

RGP is seeking an experienced Graphic Designer / eLearning Developer with strong skills in supporting marketing design, including sales materials, and multiple eLearning projects. The right candidate needs to possess real world, corporate experience developing visual graphics, creating and editing digital media including video, working with eLearning software, familiar with video and training, and interfacing with clients, instructional staff and subject matter experts to build engaging marketing and training materials.

Responsibilities: 

• Work within a team to contribute ideas and have input into architecting creative and technical solutions, brainstorming ideas and developing cutting edge digital marketing and eLearning projects.
• Developing project specific graphic design “from soup to nuts”.
• Working with and contributing to storyboards that tell a visual story in support of video marketing and eLearning.
• Identifying learning-related issues, such as content sequencing, flow of information and relevancy of media, and quickly develops and implements effective solutions.
• Creating eLearning courses in Adobe Captivate or Articulate Storyline, designed and developed to be world class learning programs that are experiential, drive behavior change, and increase performance.
Typical Deliverables Include:
• PowerPoint themes and presentations
• 1-2 minute marketing/commercial video overviews (requires animated graphics, audio integration, etc.)
• Graphic design and development for various internal marketing materials (1-page datasheets, web/print ads, etc.)
• Graphic design and development for instructional design materials (assessments, acknowledgements, job aids, facilitator guides, participant guides, quick reference guides, reference guides, and surveys)
• eLearning modules (within LMS specs, HTML5 and mobile-ready, including software & system simulations)

Requirements: 

• Professional, corporate experience designing and developing graphic design materials, using basic principles (font usage, use of white space/layout, color theory)
• Utilizing a range of rapid authoring and design tools to produce engaging and innovative content. Including, but not limited to: Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Dreamweaver, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.).
• Proficient in video and audio editing concepts and software.
• Proficient in learning programs across delivery multiple mediums (mobile learning, eLearning, virtual learning, live simulation, and live classroom).
• Adobe Captivate, Articulate 360 (Storyline, etc.)
• Network & media technologies in relation to graphic design.
• Comfortable working both onsite and remotely with subject matter experts to collect data for training needs, performance requirements, operating procedures, technical systems, processes, and other related information.
• Flexibility in shifting focus in a fast-paced environment with continually changing priorities.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interface with clients.

Preferred Experience:
• Self-starter with high energy, drive, enthusiasm, initiative, and commitment.
• Excellent communication, facilitation and persuasive skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience in training needs analysis, and instructional design, development, and evaluation in a corporate or professional services environment.
• Project Management capabilities: Ability to sequence, prioritize, manage, and report upon the progress of a given set of tasks.
• Working knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS) related to packaging and uploading training content, and learning technology standards such as SCORM or AICC not required
• Working knowledge of Skype and similar web conferencing tools
• Research, evaluate and propose training resources to be used for content creation, training design and business development. Share in our passion for exploring new technologies to further the digital learning experience.
• Appraises capabilities, strengths and weaknesses of new and existing eLearning design and development tools, and recommends changes and upgrades to our team’s eLearning toolbox.
• Build and maintain valued relationship with key internal and external stakeholders.

Essential Software Experience:
• Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere, etc.)
• Adobe Captivate
• Articulate 360 (Storyline, Rise, Peek, Review etc.)
• Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Outlook, Word)
• WordPress experience beneficial
• Able to work on Microsoft Windows 10 laptop (not locked down to a Mac)
