Accretive Solutions’ Executive Search Practice has been engaged by one of its clients to recruit a HR Manager to join their team, located in the Greater Detroit area.

Responsibilities: 

• Administer various human resource programs, procedures and policies.
• Coordinate companywide employee related communications and announcements.
• Partner with executive management in all aspects of human resource needs and planning initiatives.
• Assist in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures; prepares and maintains employee handbook and policies.
• Assist in evaluation of reports, decisions and results of department in relation to established goals.
• Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of the department and services performed.
• Conduct recruitment effort for all personnel and conduct new employee orientation.
• Maintain company organizational charts and human resource information system records.
• Advice management in appropriate resolution of employee relation issues.
• Maintain historical human resource records required by law through designing a filing and retrieval system.
• Participate in administrative staff meetings and attend other meetings throughout the organization.
• Perform other related duties as required and assigned.

Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, or other related field of study
• 7+ years of progressive Human Resource Management experience
• Leadership experience
