Sales and Use Tax Accountant (Contract to Hire)

Responsibilities: 

Assist in the coordination of state and local sales tax audits
Monthly Reconciliation
Assist in the Department’s tax accounting requirements; including the preparation of journal entries for monthly customer tax credits
Perform research on technical Sales/Use tax issues and document findings
Complete special projects as assigned by manager

Requirements: 

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
Three plus years of relevant sales tax experience
Strong Excel skills
