Senior Manager, Benefits Administration (Dallas)

Accretive Solutions’ Executive Search Practice, now a part of RGP, has been engaged by an excellent global asset management company to recruit a Senior Manager, Benefits Administration to join their team, located in Dallas. They are looking for a polished candidate with 7+ years’ global benefits experience and certifications. A Bachelor’s degree in business, HR or related field is required. The Senior Manager, Benefits Administration is responsible for developing and administering global employee benefit programs including: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, 401(k), deferred compensation, wellness and education benefits. The Senior Manager, Benefits Administration is responsible for researching, evaluating, presenting recommendations to senior management, and implementing the approved benefits options offered to employees of the company and subsidiaries, or any other entity with employees to which the company provides services. The Senior Manager, Benefits Administration is also responsible for ensuring all global programs are competitive, sustainable, scalable, and enhance the ability to attract retain and motivate top talent.

Essential Functions:
• Maintains overall supervision of the Company’s employee benefit programs and ensures compliance with federal, state and local laws and regulations.
• Manages regulatory compliance including but not limited to: EEO compliance, ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, ADAAA and Disability.
• Ensures compliance, auditing and proper filings with federal/state requirements. Files all required forms with support from vendors for Health and Welfare plans as well as retirement plans.
• Manages the Leave of Absence Program to include: FMLA, Personal Leave and Disability.
• Oversees administration of the 401(k) plan. Directs annual 401(k) audit, actuarial valuations and oversees preparation of annual 5500’s.
• Directs and manages activities associated with self-funded group health plans including contract negotiation and administration of third party administrator (TPA) contracts, evaluation of vendor performance, rate development, stop loss insurance, etc.
• Manages the global benefit renewals and open enrollment processes. Annually updates all benefit communication materials and updates the Company’s benefit platform or Intranet.
• Acts as primary contact and manages third-party vendor relationships to ensure efficient and effective administration of all benefit plans.
• Partners with local and global brokers to design, plan and manage the implementation, communication and administration of company-wide employee benefits programs such as health insurance, life and disability, retirement and other related benefits plans.
• Analyzes recommendations from the local and global brokers in order to present the various employee benefit options that were evaluated and provide recommendations to senior management.
• Negotiates with brokers and insurance companies with respect to premiums, terms and conditions, renewals and modification of insurance contracts.
• Develops and delivers cost control procedures to ensure maximum coverage and the least possible cost to the Company.
• Reconciles monthly invoices and submits for approval and payment.
• Develops, recommends, and implements new or modified plans and employee benefit policies.
• Continually evaluates internal and external administrative processes.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources or related field required.
• PHR, SPHR or GPHR Certification preferred.
• CEBS and/or CCP Certification preferred.

• 7+ years of progressive Global Benefits experience required.

Other Skills:
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint (Microsoft Office Suite) required.
• Prior experience with Workday and/or ADP a plus.

Work Environment:
• This job operates in a professional office environment.
• This role generally requires 40+ hours per week; however, hours may vary based on workflow.

Travel Requirements:
• This role does not require frequent travel, less than 10%
