Accretive Solutions’ Executive Search Practice has been engaged by one of its clients to recruit a Sr. Financial Analyst to join their team, located in the Greater Detroit area.


• Ensure compliance with all funding requirements for retirement programs.
• Prepare quarterly Sarbanes-Oxley testing.
• Assist with monthly Corporate reporting and analysis for actuals, forecast, and budget.
• Provide support for Corporate financial reporting, analysis and planning, including US GAAP research and SEC reporting.
• Monitor actual healthcare costs in comparison to the budget and long-range assumptions and ensure that quarterly expense for these costs are in accordance with GAAP on a consolidated basis.
• Establish, update, and maintain the department’s Finance Manual policies for Benefits Finance.
• Month-end consolidation activities including: accounting for foreign branches, statement of cash flow entries, etc.).
• Serve as primary contact for outside auditors on certain benefits accounts and analysis.
• Support projects focused primarily on reducing and managing the cost of employee benefits.
• Responsible for fringe benefits budget, forecast, and long-range planning data.
• Lead international reporting activities.


• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
• MBA and/or CPA preferred
• Automotive industry experience preferred
