Technology Risk & Controls Assurance Lead

The Technology Team supports the development, implementation and ongoing maintenance of all banking systems. This team has the expertise and commitment to develop high-quality solutions to meet the needs of a fast-paced and complex operating environment.

Responsibilities: 

• Execute testing assignments of procedures and internal controls in accordance with established project plans and testing programs, ensuring consistent quality in communication, execution, and delivery of objectives
• Document work in accordance with departmental work paper formats
• Keep project lead(s) informed of project statuses and challenges as they arise
• Develop and write-up testing findings for review by testing team management
• As skills develop, take on increasing responsibilities to make independent decisions within the limited scope of the testing assignment

Requirements: 

• The candidate should clearly demonstrate proficiency in evaluating and testing internal controls, assess risks, and in applying audit skills
• 3-5 years’ work experience in IT audit, IT security, or IT projects preferred
• The candidate requires strong analytical skills, the ability to prioritize, and must have solid time management skills
• The candidate must have strong communication skills, both verbal and written, be able to interact with Senior Management, and be able to research industry regulations when necessary
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, Accounting, Finance or Business area
• The candidate must be able to learn control testing skills and techniques in a relatively short period of time
• The candidate will be expected to develop overall product knowledge and business unit knowledge of The Company over time
• CISA, CISSP or candidate for certification
• Experience with auditing at least one of the following operating systems: Windows Server, UNIX systems, or IBM Mainframe OS/390
• Effective as both an individual contributor and team player
